Using compatible EOS cameras, every flash setting on the Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flashgun  can be controlled via the camera's menu system, for quick convenience and intuitive use. The Canon Speedlite 430-EX II's Manual Mode allows fine adjustment of flash output in 1/3rd stop increments, for truly refined flash output. This flash gun is fully compatible with the E-TTL II system found on recent Canon EOS cameras, and can also be used as a slave unit in a wireless flash set-up.
