A new assassin rises
Amidst a hostile world of harsh seas, wild lands and neo-industrialised cities called the Isles, the Empress is murdered in the capital city of Dunwall, an industrial city full or disorder and chaos. The bodyguard of the Empress is framed for her murder, and must go into hiding to seek revenge as an assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that strikes fear into his enemies.
Travel through the city of Dunwall, a dark and dank place where the poor are oppressed by the government with new technologies, and where plague is common. Little is known about the plague, apart from that it causes bleeding from the eyes, causing armies of 'Weepers'.
Know your enemies
As you travel through this hostile world, you'll come across a range of enemies to face. There's the Tallboys, sentinels armed with explosives and extended legs, the Warfare Overseers, who are members of a militant religious group called the Abbey of the Everyman, and even the dangerous Lord Regent.
Silent assassinations
Take out your enemies with first person control, which lets you get creative with your abilities and gadgets. The choice to sneak in the shadows or to take on large groups is up to you, and you have the supernatural abilities to teleport, take control of living creatures and even take control of time for the sneakiest kills.
As you develop your skills you will be able to upgrade your skills and gadgets until you are the ultimate killing machine.
